pc help - IncrediMail E-mail Accounts

Open IncrediMail and left click on Tools.
Left click on Accounts.

With the left mouse button click once on the e-mail account you want to make alterations to, this will highlight the account, now left click on the "Properties" button.

Under the heading "User Information" you can change the box "Display Name" the text in this box appears in the "From" heading in the recipients inbox. The most common usage of this box is either your own name or your company name.

This section will allow you to change the most important part of your e-mail account settings.

Incoming and Outgoing mail server boxes should have one of the following settings, this will be dependent on whether you have purchased the Advanced Access Package (aap), which is a Business Serve optional extra.

For incoming mail server pop.businessserve.co.uk

For outgoing mail server smtp.businessserve.co.uk

 

AAP customers should use aap.businessserve.co.uk for both incoming and outgoing mail servers. You will also need to place a tick in the "My server requires authentication" box, to do this left click the empty box.

Under the heading "Logon Information" In the box "User Name" you enter the user name given to you by Business Serve and of course in the "Password" box you enter the password.

Note: Incredimail doesn't have the facility to increase server timeouts.

Once all the settings have been entered click on the "OK" button.

Left click on the "Close" button.

It is always recommended that whenever you have made changes to email or dialup settings that you restart your PC.
